Welcome to citizencentric.net

This site is maintained by Lasse Berntzen, Professor at University of South-Eastern Norway.

Citizen Centric is about putting citizens first when designing public policies and services, including electronic services. User involvement can make both policies and services better, both for the users and the service provider. The aim of this web site is to promote citizen centricity. The site is still under construction, but contains some uselful material and links.

The International Academy, Research, and Industry Association (IARIA) organizes an annual international conference on Advances in Human-oriented and Personalized Mechanisms, Technologies, and Services (CENTRIC). In 2014 I held a tutorial on User Centric Innovation. The slides from this tutorial can be found here.

In 2013, I wrote a paper on Citizen-centric eGovernment Services. This paper can be downloaded from the ThinkMind open access library.

cc:eGov

The EC-funded project cc:eGov produced a set of "Think Papers". I was one of the experts that participated in the cc:eGov workshops.
You can find those "Think papers" here

NET-EUCEN

My university was a partner of the EC-funded NET-EUCEN network, promoting citizen-centric eGovernment. You can find more information on NET-EUCEN here
